FMS Invitations Update for Russian Visa

Dear Clients,

Kindly be advised that the technical problems with the FMS new database have not been solved as of today. No official information is given, but we expect it to last at least a week more.

As of now, the most affected visa support is single/double paper invitations for 1/3 months with processing period with 6 days.
We do not recommend ordering these invitations at FMS until a further notice and will be removing them from our corporate interface.

The recommended visa support for all time sensitive requests are:
  • tourist vouchers
  • letters from authorized companies
  • letters from Chamber of Commerce
  • telexes from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Should you need further advice regarding which visa support is best suitable for your location, please don't hesitate to contact us.

We very much hope that the Federal Migration Service will resolve its technical difficulties as soon as possible so that it does not affect the processing terms in the future.

Please be assured that we are doing our utmost best to remedy the situation and get the invites out the earliest possible. We will keep you posted.

Kind regards,

Visa Service Department

Before you go to Russia, taste Russia at Mari Vanna

MARI VANNA IN A BITE

Situated in the heart of Knightsbridge between the doorsteps of One Hyde Park and the Bvlgari hotel, visitors are warmly welcomed into the new London home of Russian matriarch, the mythical Mari Vanna. According to Russian folklore, Mari Vanna invited weary guests and travellers into her kitchen for a home-cooked meal and a cosy retreat.

Mari Vanna specialises in “babushka cooking” and the menu of Russian dishes also features influences from
the former Soviet countries of Georgia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan amongst others. Comforting, traditional dishes such as Borsch with Pampushka (a Russian beetroot soup with smoked beef) and
Harcho (a rich Georgian lamb soup with rice and a spicy adjika sauce) feature alongside carefully crafted Pelmeni (Siberian veal dumplings with a light herb sauce) and Ukrainian Galubtzi (meat and rice encased in
cabbage leaves). Additionally the menu offers an extensive selection of salads and lighter dishes displaying a
liberal use of fresh herbs.

With extraordinary attention to detail, Mari Vanna transports each guest into the Russian home of a bygone era where shelves are adorned with matryoshka dolls, trinkets and tchotchke. Mari Vanna is co-owned by Vadim Lapin & Dmitry Sergeyev, founders of restaurant group Ginza Project, and Luca Del Bono who has operated in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. Initially opened in a private apartment in St. Petersburg, Mari Vanna also has sister restaurants in Moscow, New York, Washington DC and shortly LA.

- Visitor виза сроком на полгода стоит £78, на 2 года - £270, а на 10 лет - £716. Учитывая, что за 10 лет срока действия визы визовый сбор может вырасти, то такая цена позволит Вам сэкономить деньги;
- При подаче заявления на визу Вам нужно обратиться в Визовый центр в Москве (Visa Application Centre) и сдать свои биометрические данные. Если Вы подали заявление на получение визы сроком действия на 10 лет, Вы сдаёте свои биометрические данные только один раз в течение этого периода времени;
- В случае истечения срока действия вашего паспорта при наличии визы, действительной для въезда в Великобританию, Вы можете приехать в Британию, имея при себе старый паспорт с действующей визой и новый паспорт - таким образом, не требуется переклеивать визу;
- Долгосрочная виза займёт меньше места в вашем паспорте, чем новые визы, которые Вам придётся получать каждые полгода;
- Вы сможете приехать в Великобританию в срочном порядке, если Вас, например, пригласили принять участие в безотлагательном деловом совещании, или в случае срочных семейных обстоятельств, требующих Вашего присутствия, или если Вы в последнюю минуту приняли решение посетить спортивное мероприятие, либо отправиться на шоппинг и посетить туристические достопримечательности;
- Вам не придётся описывать нам свои предыдущие поездки в Великобританию, но необходимо будет объяснить причину подачи заявления на долгосрочную визу.
